San Jose City Hall is an extremely versatile venue that can accommodate a wide range of private or corporate events you may be planning.

Organizations or individuals may reserve the glass-domed Rotunda, a public gallery space stretching 110 feet high to support everything from elegant private receptions and banquets to corporate lectures and presentations. In the Wing, the Council Chambers and a series of Committee Rooms can be used separately for smaller receptions and catered dinners, or combined to make a larger event space.

Corporate groups can utilize the state-of-the-art Board of Supervisor’s meeting rooms, plus the additional conference rooms as a bonus to the Rotunda. Groups can conduct an awards presentation and then end up in the Rotunda. Additional tenting can be provided to create a larger event space.

If you are looking for an outdoor venue, three areas on the outdoor Plaza may be reserved, including the Bamboo Courtyard located on the southern edge of the City Hall complex, or the west or east Plaza areas, right off of the Rotunda. The Bamboo Courtyard is bordered by a planting area of Henon Black Bamboo; an ideal space for a pre-event reception or small catered dinner. Site tables and chairs are available.
