Originally a landmark 19th century library in downtown San Jose, the Museum of Art was expanded in 1991 to include an impressive new modern wing. Flexible facility rental options can accommodate parties of any size, with a variety of settings that can be separate or combined to host anywhere from 50 to 1,200 guests – expanded to up to 3,000 when used in conjunction with the outdoor plaza.  Corporate board meetings or catered staff retreats can also make use of the Wendel Education Center, offering complete amenities for a variety of business needs. 

The San Jose Museum of Art, which may be rented for private events, provides a range of beautiful settings for breakfast meetings, luncheons, corporate dinners, holiday parties, product introductions and convention receptions

What We Love About This Venue
The New Wing Lobby is home to three Chihuly lighting pieces that add to the décor of your catered event. Inside the Café and Wendel Center, party guests can utilize the Museum’s lounge furniture, tables and chairs. This historic museum is perfect for art lovers of all kinds. There is a variety of flexible venue spaces that can be used for all types of events.
