As you may know, we recently made an appearance on Bravo’s Million Dollar Listing San Francisco. We had the opportunity to donate our services to cater the Annual Fundraising Auction for 3Strands Global to help stop human trafficking, at a beautiful private estate for sale in Tiburon that happened to take place during filming of last week’s episode.
3Strands Global is an amazing organization that empowers a worldwide community to come together and collaborate as a united force to combat human trafficking in the U.S., Cambodia and Nepal. They raise money to help organizations by selling bracelets handmade by young women rescued from human trafficking. The bracelets consist of three strands braided together to symbolize the freedom, love and empowerment these women experienced once freed. A red string is incorporated in the middle of each bracelet to represent the souls of the victims, as well as a red seed from the Sandalwood tree in Cambodia, which represents the beauty of each of the women. We are big believers in this cause and jumped at the chance to help at their fundraiser.
100 guests were welcomed to the auction where we served Duck Croquettes, Tiny Thai Tombo Tuna Tacos, Inside-Out “BLTs”, Picked Peppadew Peppers with Jicama Salsa and Avocado Mousse as well as a selection of west coast artisan cheeses with seasonal dried fruits, nuts, sliced baguette and water crackers. To keep the guests comfortable and hydrated, we also provided freshly brewed Iced Tea, Housemade Lemonade with Mint and fresh Cucumber Water.
