The Green Room is one of San Francisco’s hidden gems. Built in the 1930’s, the room is a classic San Francisco wedding venue that features grand columns, electric chandeliers and a built in bar. Outside, the Loggia encompasses the length of the Green Room and overlooks beautiful City Hall.
Located on the second floor of the War Memorial Veteran’s Building, which also houses Herbst Theatre and is next door to San Francisco’s Opera House, the Green Room is ideal for wedding receptions. It can accommodate between 80-180 seated catered dinners and receptions up to 200. If extra space is required, tenting and heating the Loggia nicely expands the Green Room’s capacity. In-house equipment is available for additional rental fees.
The Green Room welcomes wedding ceremonies, receptions, private parties and anniversary parties during the months of July and August. The Green Room is otherwise booked for performing arts, public interest and community events.
Please note that this SF event space is only available for weddings during the months of July through August.
