Here at Global Gourmet Catering, we always say that vegetarians should not feel like second-class citizens, and we believe this to be true for our gluten-free, nut-free, dairy-free, pescatarian, kosher, vegan, and all of our friends! We want every guest to leave every event fully satisfied with their dining experience.
While it is almost always possible to make substitutions on existing dishes to accommodate dietary restrictions (offering gluten-free pasta substitutions, for example, or impossible meat instead of beef), we built a menu that includes selections that are inherently restriction-friendly, like our BBQ Jackfruit hors d’oeuvre. Made with tangy barbecued jicama and topped with pineapple relish, you’d never know it was vegan!
One of our most beautiful dishes, our Salad of Rainbow Baby Beets, is, naturally vegetarian, but also boasts a deliciously light gluten-free dressing.
Our Roasted Red Pepper Panisse is one of our most popular vegetarian dishes, not only because it is vegan and gluten-free, but also because it is so versatile! It can be delicately plated for a seated dinner, served precomposed station-style, or held in a chafer for a beautiful buffet. No matter how it’s served, it is always warm and flavorful.
And, of course, we can’t forget about dessert! While most desserts are already vegetarian–and dairy-free and gluten-free, substitutions are possible for most items. We also have a wide variety of inherently vegan, gluten-free, and/or nut-free options. Some of our best desserts, like our Tcho Chocolate Mousse, are actually all three! Made from avocados (so it’s also healthy, right?) and Tcho’s vegan chocolate, this rich and fluffy dessert is one of our best-selling; not because anyone can enjoy it, but because everyone does!
