We were honored to provide custom catering services for last night’s annual Democratic National Committee fundraising event with Vice President Joe Biden at a private residence in San Francisco’s beautiful Seacliff neighborhood.
A hundred folks attended the evening’s festivities and enjoyed Global Gourmet passed hors d’ oeuvres, a variety of food stations and full bar/beverage service. Tickets for the event reportedly cost between $500 and $10,000. The Vice President spoke for about ten minutes and, among other things, reiterated his (and President Obama’s) longstanding support of same-sex marriage. He didn’t get to stay very long but is no stranger to Global Gourmet. He told us previously, “That was the best food I’ve had,” the last time we catered a private event featuring the Vice President as the guest of honor. (Thanks Joe!)
Mr. Biden’s visit to the Bay Area comes just a week after President Barack Obama also flew in for Democratic fundraisers in Palo Alto and Portola Valley.
