Scott Fairbanks is one of the innovative and creative minds behind Global Gourmet Catering’s success. He’s had a long career at Global Gourmet having first started as an Onsite Chef in 2004. Scott quickly moved through the ranks and became a Kitchen Manager and then the Production Kitchen Manager Chef de Cuisine. His path later led him into the exciting world of sales where he eventually became Senior Sales Manager. We are happy to announce that Scott has now added Creative Director to his job title.

You might be wondering what a Creative Director at a catering and events company does. “There’s an intersection between culinary innovation, presentation, optics and guest experience,” says Scott. He describes himself as firmly standing in the middle of that intersection, influencing and directing how well all of those aspects meet.

Scott’s favorite part about the new hat he wears is that it allows him to think about food and guest experiences in new and exciting ways. Always staying up-to-date on event and culinary trends, Scott is always thinking about what the next greatest thing is and how we can wow our guests and clients at events.

Scott credits his naturally creative mind to his success as well as his years of experience at Global Gourmet. It has taught him to know how food and events need to be presented in order to make a successful event. Especially since we live in a part of the country that is home to some of the most innovative companies in the world; we always strive to bring innovation, uniqueness and creativity to these companies’ events and exceed their high expectations, and Scott is a big part of that.

A constant entertainer, Scott gets plenty of creative practice at home too where he loves to host beautiful and elegant dinner parties. Please join us in congratulating Scott in his new role!
