This particular wedding holds a dear spot in our hearts at Global Gourmet Catering. The gorgeous bride is our one and only Ashley – an integral member of the Global sales team! Ashley and Nick dated for six and a half year prior to his romantic proposal on a carriage ride through New York’s Central Park. Champagne and dinner followed at The Plaza to celebrate the next chapter in their lives.

With Ashley’s extensive history of event planning, we knew we were in store for a fabulous custom wedding. Guests were greeted with lemon-rose water and iced green tea as they arrived to the gorgeous Jacuzzi Winery in Sonoma, CA. The ceremony took place on the Vineyard Vista which provided a stunning backdrop, Italian marble fountain and overlooked the estate vines. Immediately following the ceremony were butler passed hors d’ oeuvres, an open full bar including scotch pairings and a decadent Meditteranean Antipasti spread which featured cured meats, artisan cheeses, pate and olives.
A custom-catered wedding menu, created by our Executive Chef Eric Magnani, featured seasonal and local favorites of Ashley and Nick such as kobe beef short ribs braised for days with trumpet mushrooms and a mouth watering chicken dish stuffed with prosciutto, porcinis and sage-parmesan ricotta.
Following dinner, guests entered the Italian inspired Barrel Room which was completely transformed with lounge furniture, chandeliers, dramatic lighting and beautiful florals. Guests were also offered a gourmet Sundae Bar which included Knob Creek Bourbon Gelato, sea salt caramel sauce and candied pecans – yum!
