The #WEREGETTINGMARRIED2017 event was designed to gather our favorite members of San Francisco’s wedding industry to discuss trends in the year ahead, but it meant a lot more than that to us: the Global Gourmet Weddings team has undergone a renaissance of sorts in the past year, so we wanted to showcase some of the really great ideas our team developed themselves.
Cheryl Fleming, our Director of Weddings, orchestrated the event beautifully and Steven Cheung, our new Executive Pastry Chef, put San Francisco’s pastry elite on notice by serving up cake tastings from our cake bar! We love the idea of evolving the dessert bars we saw so much of last year into something even more opulent and interactive.
In addition to the delicious food and signature cocktails we’re known for, a spectacular wedding fashion show from San Francisco-based JAKE and beautiful details from our friends at Standard Party Rentals and Yonder Designs really pushed the event over the top. Hearing we surprised our wedding planner friends was the highest compliment!
