Your food delivery comes from the company that is setting the standard for food safety best practices to curb the spread of COVID-19. Global Gourmet implemented these practices in early February 2020.
All food-handling personnel are temperature checked upon arrival at our facilities. Anyone exhibiting a fever higher than 99.5F is sent home and not allowed to work.
All staff are provided with N-95 masks upon arriving at our facilities and must wear the masks for the entirety of their shift with the exception of food and beverage breaks, which are held outdoors.
Our work and kitchen prep areas have been spread out, allowing for at least six feet of separation between kitchen personnel.
All food handling staff wear masks during all parts of food production and handling. All food handling staff wash their hands a minimum of every 60 minutes.
We have increased our frequency for disinfecting work areas and we use sanitizing solutions that meet or exceed CDC recommendations. Hand sanitizers are installed at every work area entrance and exit. These sanitizers contain a minimum of 70% ethyl alcohol content.
