A First-Hold Venue
San Francisco

Bluxome Street Winery

While SOMA might not be the first location that springs to mind for connoisseurs of Northern California wine, before the earthquake of 1906, this storied San Francisco district used to be home to nearly 120 wineries and commercial cellars. It’s truly the birthplace of California wine-making.

With an appellation that Bluxome Street playfully calls “South of the Slot” (as the district used to be known), this pared-down, utilitarian milieu easily adapts to your choice of wedding décor. Timeless wooden bistro tables and chairs can be decorated in any style your heart desires – or that your heart’s desire desires.  Gleaming racks of handsome, racked wooden wine barrels surround this loft-style wedding venue, complemented by polished pendant lights that twinkle from above.

This 3,000-foot event space comes complete with everything needed to host an intimate wedding, reception, bridal shower or cocktail party including a fully equipped kitchen, built-in sound system, audio/visual capabilities, plasma television, use of bistro tables and chairs, access to a winery representative on-site and ample parking or valet service available for a fee. (Note: for couples wanting a ceremony and reception onsite the maximum capacity is 85 guests.)

Bluxome also has a location at Ghirardelli Square in the Woolen Mill Building and can accommodate up to 80 guests (or 50 seated) for weddings and receptions.

Global Gourmet Catering is proud to be a preferred wedding caterer for Bluxome Street Winery!
