A First-Hold Venue
San Francisco

Bluxome Street Winery

While SOMA (South Of Market) isn’t usually associated with wine-making, this historic San Francisco district is actually the birthplace of California wine-making. Before the 1906 earthquake, 120 wineries and commercial cellars used to call it home. And now, it’s home to Bluxome Street Winery, reviving the district’s oenophile roots with mouth-watering vintages and industrial-chic style.

A working winery, Bluxome Street exudes utilitarian style, and its chic tasting room is a great place to relax with a glass of wine or two. With its purposefully unadorned ambiance, the 3,000-foot event space easily transforms into a unique venue complete with everything needed to host a reception, intimate cocktail party or special event.  Artfully arranged racks of wooden wine barrels provide industrial flair, while custom glass pendant lighting sparkles from high, lofty ceilings.

Generous venue amenities at Bluxome Street Winery include a fully equipped kitchen, built-in sound system, audio/visual capabilities, plasma television, use of bistro tables and chairs, wine barrels, access to a winery representative on-site and ample parking or valet service available for a fee. And lastly, the wine is delicious!

It’s a real hidden gem in the middle of the city bringing the heart of Napa to the heart of San Francisco.

Bluxome also has a location at Ghirardelli Square in the Woolen Mill Building and can accommodate up to 80 guests (or 50 seated) for private parties or corporate events.

Global Gourmet Catering is proud to be a preferred catering services provider for Bluxsome Street Winery!
