Established in 1996, the Computer History Museum is a public benefit organization dedicated to the preservation and celebration of computing history. It is home to one of the largest collections of computing artifacts in the world, a collection comprising over 4,000 artifacts, 10,000 images, 4,000 linear feet of cataloged documentation and gigabytes of software.

The thousands of artifacts at the Computer History Museum are a fascinating treasure trove for anyone interested in where technology has been and where it's headed. A docent-led stroll through the Museum’s Visible Storage Area. is a great way to place your event in a rich and meaningful context. You can make this taste of the past even more relevant with your own displays that explain how your current and future technology build on this rich tradition.

The Museum’s innovative architecture unfolds on several levels, with an appealing mix of large spaces and intimate nooks. Since most patrons rent the entire facility, you don't have to share the Museum with many other events that evening, making your event truly special.

The Museum has an open, visually-stunning design with minimal exhibits, which makes it easier and less expensive to pull off a great themed party.

The Computer History Museum is a “blank” canvas, ideal for creating unique, thematic events. With a fairly flexible event load-in time and load-in dock, logistics are unusually easy.

Convenient: The Museum is located close to the intersection of routes 101, 85, and 237; is within a 1-hour drive of all major Bay Area locations; and has plenty of free parking.

Affordable: The Museum has flexible event rental fees that compare quite favorably to other local alternatives such as the convention center, downtown hotels and other museums. Plus, you control your catering costs directly, without hidden charges.

Experienced: The Museum's full-time event planning team has more than 10 years of experience planning events for tech companies.

Global Gourmet Catering is proud to be a preferred catering services provider for this amazing venue!

What we love about this venue

The possiblities are endless at the Computer History Museum. Corporate groups can conduct all day conferences complete with break-out rooms and then end up in a totally different area of the museum for a cocktail reception and seated dinner. Being able to have access to the builiding all day allows for easy set-up and break-down.
