The Exploratorium is a fantastic place to hold an event, especially if you want an interactive venue.

From a seated dinner for 400 to a standing cocktail reception for 2,500, the Exploratorium makes for a fun and memorable evening. Adjacent to San Francisco's Palace of Fine Arts, the Exploratorium is a collage of over 400 science, art, and human perception exhibits. The Exploratorium is a leader in the movement to promote museums as educational centers.

The café area is available for rental and includes the usage of 32 - 32”x32” cocktail tables and 7 24”x24” cocktail tables with seating for 142.

The café area of the Exploratorium does not have to be used but we recommend that you utilize a pipe/drape package to cover the back wall of the café during your event. We also highly recommend a lighting package for this space. Vendors are allowed to load in at 5:15 p.m., making 7:00 p.m. the ideal event start time in this venue.
