The new and transformed California Academy of Sciences includes three levels of sustainable features that blend with the beauty of Golden Gate Park.

The ground level features the Piazza, Tusher African Hall, the Planetarium, the Rainforest, California & Climate, the ever popular Swamp, the Pendulum, Expeditions and Science in Action. The lower level includes the lower half of the Planetarium and the Swamp along with the Philippine Coral Reef, Water Planet, California Coast and the Amazon Flooded Forest. The upper level includes the top part of the Planetarium and the Rainforest along with the Naturalist Center and the Observation Terrace. The Academy will be the most “green” museum in the world!
